Patrick Committee, the board for the Riverview Park Golf Course, the State of Georgia’s Barber Board, and The Heart of Georgia Community Action Council. Manning devoted his time to the Dublin community, serving on the board of Dublin Parks and Recreation, Black History Festival Committee, the Dublin St. Once retired from education, Charles served as a Magistrate Court Judge from 1981-2010. After navigating the school and the community through integration, Manning was named principal of Central Elementary School, where he continued to be an example to the younger generation, and he encouraged all to excel. Upon graduating from college, he became the principal of Oconee High School, serving from 1959-1970. during a renaming ceremony of Wabash Street on Saturday, Jat 12 pm on the corner of Oconee and Wabash Streets. Wabash Street to be renamed in Manning’s honorĭublin, Georgia J– City of Dublin and the Oconee High School National Alumni Association, Inc.
